1/16/09: So I went to DMV to change my drivers license and transfer all our registrations over to Idaho. And guess what????? I freaking failed the written drivers test....What the frick!!! How stupid is that. I am retarded. But in my defense, I have not taken a test since 1995 when I first got my license. I also have always been able to renew by mail because I have never been pulled over or received a ticket, or been in an accident that was my fault. So there!!!!
Anyway, we are in a hurry to transfer the registration over to Idaho because it is so much cheaper and we just paid all the registrations for most of our vehicles recently. So we are expecting a HUGE refund from the good ole state of CA. I just paid my tags in December and they were $300. Here is Idaho...........$81.....WHAT......I know, are kidding me. Seriously!!! So just about all of our stuff is going to add up to a nice refund from CA. If you consider that we register our 2 primary cars, JP's Bronco, the RV, the Harley, and 3 dirt bikes. Good Grief. And just so you all know, I just transferred all our insurance policies to here and we are saving OVER $800 a year on our policies. WOW....I know, awesome. OK just wanted to share my excitement with you all.
I am still working on putting my house together. I will post pictures of it soon. Give me some time, I just got the rest of my stuff today. Give me a break. Despite what some of you may think, I am NOT wonder woman........! Hee hee. I also think it has been long enough since the last batch of Cheese Zombies. I am feeling the need to make some. Although I am a little intimidated of the climate change, and adjusting the recipe accordingly. Lanette, I may be calling you soon for advice!!!!!

Oh My, You guys really did move! :) Your blog puts my blog to shame...I can't keep up with mine, espc. since I have gotten into facebook. So I love the photos, the school looks amazing, I am jealous, since I work at such an outdate CA school. I have been trying to talk Walt into moving somewhere else too, but I think we are chicken to leave. Good for you guys getting out of the CA mess, and on to bigger and better things. Maybe someday we can plan on going on a business trip out there to visit with Walt. I have always wanted to visit, since that is where my mom was born. Take care. Love to you all Michaela
Hmm that was so funny. So did you retake the test yet? Amanda goes today for her driving test.. she is so excited she can hardly wait. She washed her car the other day... and of course it rained the next day, and man is it raining.I hope she does ok with taking her driving test in the rain. I am sure she will call you & tell you she passed... once she passes of course. See ya Mare
