1/14/09: Justin and Lauren started their new schools today. Justin's goes to Hunter Elementary. And Lauren goes to Challenger Private Preschool. Both schools are just minutes from our house. So it is super convenient for me to take them. Justin's school goes from 9:00 am - 3:40 pm and Lauren's school is M-W-F 8:45 am - 11:45am. Lauren will go to Challenger for the rest of this year and then next year before she will start Hunter Elementary with Justin.
They both LOVE their new schools. Justin was a little bit nervous the first morning, but he did great. He was also excited. He thinks his school is pretty cool because it is all indoors. He thought it looked strange at first, but he likes it better. It is only 3 years old, and it is so nice. Compared to his old school in CA. Lauren LOVES her new school. Although she misses Ms. Karen as do I, at A Jump Ahead in Oakley. She really likes her new school. It is big and new and really nice. She loves her new teachers. She has two of them. And she loves the new playground. It is huge and they have so many things for her to play on. I will take more pictures of their schools next week.
We took pictures of them the morning before they started school, and they wanted to take alot. They are silly. Plus I love to take pictures too. If I could have taken more I would have. Justin was a little shy and does not like me to take too many pictures of him when we were at his school. I guess maybe I was embarrassing him.....:o) I will take more though and will post those next week.
Like I said previously, I am still unpacking. The rest of our stuff came today. So i can finally put things together and I am just now making Jason start to hang things. He dreads that the most. And believe me I have a lot of stuff to hang.......:o) So I will chat more soon, I promise there will not be as big of a gap in between posts this time. I am up and running electronically now so I have no excuses. Unlike my sister Marianne who has not updated her posts since 12/4/08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looser!!!!!
