1/18/10: Today we went for a drive around Lucky Peak Lake with Johnny, Kely, Waylon & Baby Laney. What a beautiful drive. The Lake was huge and partially frozen. It was so cool to see that. The kids got a big kick out of it too. This was just another example of the beauty surrounding us here in Idaho. So many places we are still exploring. We stopped off the side of the road to take a break and eat some lunch's we packed for the road. We played in the snow, and Justin did some sledding and we built a half of an Ice/snow castle. Then Waylon & Justin came flying down the little slope and slammed into the castle and smashed it to smithereens. They say it was an accident but I am sure it was intentional. So we will have to build a new one next time.
There is also a huge dam in the middle of the lake. That was pretty cool too. The Boise river feeds into Lucky Peak lake. Justin loves the whole idea of dams, he thinks they are amazing.

WOW So BEAUTIFUL I mean really pretty. It's amazing the wonderful things right in your back yard. It's so great to be able to just go out & take day trips like this. FUN STUFF!! I am glad you guys are out & about eploring. Make a list of all these places so when we come to visit we can check them out too. Love you guys! :) Mare
