Cooking & Baking with family

OK, so this post has a few different events going on, first we made our own homemade Chinese food. Pork egg rolls, Sweet-n-sour chicken and friend rice and homemade sweet-n-sour sauce. It was good. Time consuming, but good. Now we know why Chinese is so expensive. And just so you know, we don't fry things like this ever.....it was a special occasion, ........learning to make your own Chinese food...duh!!!! By the way, it was good too!!!!!

This is the mixture that goes in the egg rolls, ground pork, diced carrots, green onion, and cooked rice sticks.

OK, so Johnny looks a little crazy with his hair, but he had fun helping make the egg rolls.

I love my big island, it helps out with all the space baking takes up.

These are the Candy Corn Cookies that I made, they were so cute and so yummy too. They were fun to make too.

The rolled out cookies dough, cut with a mail ordered Candy corn cookie cutter, that I finally found.
