1st Place in Livermore

7/19/08: Justin had a race in Livermore today. And of course he did awesome. He got first place in all three races. He had quite the cheering section today. Gramma and Papa, Uncle Johnny, Friends Ben and Sarah, and of course mommy and daddy and his biggest fan, Lauren.

Before the race started Justin was getting some gate practice in so Lauren and I went to the park next to the track. She loves the park. Then during the race to keep her occupied, Gramma brought her some stuff to make a bead necklace. It took her a long time, but also kept her busy during the race. And when she was done so was so proud of her finished necklace.

Justin went to get his 1st place trophy, and he decided that he wanted to give it to his Uncle Johnny. He was so excited to do that. And Johnny was so excited that he wanted to give it to him. It was very cute. Johnny gave him a big hug and we got a great picture.

Afterwards we stopped in Concord and went to Red Robin for lunch. Yummy!!! The last picture is of daddy and Lauren. Justin was taking the picture and Lauren was busy coloring and did not want to be interrupted to take the picture, and daddy made her, so that explains the look on her face while she is looking at him. It was hilarious.
