Beautiful day for a Ride!!!!

5/3/08: What a great day for a ride. Our friends and next door neighbors, John & Jeana and Jason and I went for a ride on the bikes. There were a few peeps from our little riding crew missing though. My brother Johnny & his wife Kely, and then our friends Ben & Sarah. Johnny is unable to ride right now due to his recent ACL surgery. And Ben & Sarah were busy doing house remodeling. So it was just the 4 of us. We had a blast. Went on a great ride, about a 118 miles round trip. We went out Vasco Rd, into Livermore and up through the hills of Wineries, and ended up at a little tiny burger joint called "The Junction". Out in the middle of no where. Great food, lots of other people on bikes too. What a great day. Not too hot or too cold. Not too windy either. It was nice to be out and about by ourselves. This is definitely a great thing for Jason and I to do together. We both really enjoy it. I did not think I would when he first bought the bike, but after my first ride I was hooked. The only thing I want now is a bigger one!!!! Although I really like this bike, and it is fast and loud, but the seat really hurts my butt after awhile. It is a Low rider, so it is not suppose to be big. So we are thinking about trading it in and upgrading to a Road King.....ah, I can already hear my butt cheeks singing in delight!!!! LOL. The Road King is a bigger bike and way more comfortable for the passenger. So we will see if we can make that happen next year. But for now, this one is fine. So all in all what a great day. My parents came out to watch the kids for us, and then Johnny and Kely came over with Waylon to play. Then when we got home we BBQ'd and hung out. Ate a lot too. I love days like this. Now we are planning our next ride with our whole crew!!!! Can't wait.
