Jason gets hurt

1/20/08: So Jason took Justin to the BMX track in Livermore, to get some gate practice in before the new racing season starts. And Jason was riding with him. Probably showing Justin what daddy can still do. Anyway, Jason crashed, went over the handle bars at the top of a jump, and fell about 8 ft. and landed directly on his left shoulder. So after a long visit at the John Muir ER, the final outcome is a broken clavicle and a broken shoulder blade. He was in a lot of pain but was a trooper. They thought that he might need surgery.....( I thought to myself, oh no, not again) but luckily he didn't need it. Only by about a 1/4 of an inch. If the brake in the shoulder blade was in the shoulder joint, then he would have. So he got very lucky. But the Dr.'s at the ER said that it must of been a nasty fall, because the shoulder blade is a very thick and large bone, like the femur, (thigh bone) and to brake those bones is not an easy thing to do. But if anyone can do it, it would be Jason. So he is looking at 2-4 months of recovery and rehab. And a long time at home with me, everyday, all day. As most of you know, from his last injury, that was a test of marriage, love, will, and human kindness.... LOL But we will survive.

Um Yea I think you need to invest in a Giant Bubble for your man to live in. What's next he is going to break his butt and you will have to wipe it for him. Yea that is love alright! :) Boy In The Bubble or BB for short, Bubble Boy oughta think twice before getting on anything besides his own two feet! You are a nice wife I might have had to tell the hospital to keep him if it had been Kevin. I would rather pay the co-pay of the hospital stay then dealing with his whining.
