The kids first days of school

8/31/10: Justin and Lauren's first day of school. Justin started at his new school, Compass Charter school in Meridian, and Lauren started Kindergarten at Hunter Elementary. Justin was nervous because of going to a new school but he did great and loved it after his first day. Lauren was so excited she could hardly stand it. They both love their new teachers and all is working out great. I have already worked in both classrooms and I am enjoying it a lot. My plan is to be room parent for both of them and work in both classrooms once a week.

Justin also just started piano lessons this week and so far likes it alot. After one lesson he is already playing two songs. By Christmas he will playing a ton of songs in pretty good detail and will start playing Star Wars and Harry Potter music next month. He also has Football now and loves it. So he practices 3 times a week and then games on Saturday. He also still has Scouts once a week.

Lauren started her Music class last week and we have had a ton of fun. I have to participate every other week for the first year. We both have learned alot already. She has gymnastics once a week and also plays soccer. She is loving soccer. She had a game today and her team won and she scored two goals herself. What fun!!!

I think with all these activities and school and church my kids are both quite entertained!!! We could not be happier!!! Now mommy & daddy need a break for sure!!!!
