8/14/09: Today was the last day of creating things at Pottery Class. This was their third week. They have next week off, then go back the following week to hand paint and glaze their projects. They are super excited about that part. So the funny looking items are going to me Maracas. Lauren made a bunny maraca. They other pictures with the thing with the plastic bag sticking out is a mug. We can't wait to see the completed project when they are done painting. I know they will come to life then. The other two girls in the class are Lauren's friends from school, Gia and Jamison.
We will post the finished projects in a few weeks. And I am sure I will have pictures from the class where they will be painting and glazing. They will have to be fired in the kiln and set for a week after painting before we can pick them up. They can't wait!!!!

SO MUCH FUN!!! I am so glad you have them in this class. From an artistic perspective, I really think it will help them develop there talents! What a great opportunity for them. Again...Mom of the year! You are awesome Kris.

Hey make sure you post pics of the finished projects ok. Can't wait to see what they look like all done. How fun for them what a great life you have there. You know I won't really say how jealous I am... you already know. :)
