5/30/09: This weekend me, Justin, Lauren, my mom, Caryn, & Caitlyn went to Deanna & Christian's house. They live is Utah. It was a 4 1/2 hour drive. But the drive was beautiful. I didn't realize how beautiful northern Utah was. Deanna is so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
So went got there late Friday evening and Christian made us a yummy spaghetti dinner with his homemade sauce. It was delicious. They gave us a tour of their beautiful new home. The kids loved their backyard and the basement, which is HUGE. I wish we had a basement.
The next morning we went to Lagoon's, which is an amusement park and water park. Christian got us discount tickets from his work because it was his companies picnic there that day, and we got free lunch. Which was awesome and saved us a TON of money. Christian, you ROCK!!! The kids had a ball. Especially Justin. He loves roller coasters. And it is a good thing that Christian likes them too, because I don't and I was not going to go on them with Justin. So somebody had to. Christian also took Justin on all the big water slides, because I was not about to get in a swimsuit. So thanks again to Christian for being so great with Justin.
We were at the park ALL day. It was so much fun. And fun to spend time with everyone. And we stuffed our faces with amusement park food, which is basically CRAP....like snow cones, caramel apples, funnel cakes, churros. All the good stuff, not to mention the free lunch and ice cream we got then too. I know, fatty McButter pants!!!!
We spent the night again at Deanna's and then they made us yummy breakfast in the morning, and then it was packing time and time hit the road for the long drive home. Deanna tried everything in her power to stall us from leaving, but I was on a schedule, so she lost. All in all we had a great time and can't wait to come back for another visit. The kids want to go to the park again really bad. So maybe we will. Thanks Deanna & Christian for being to gracious with your home and taking us to that great park. We look forward to anther visit. Sooner then later.

SO MUCH FUN!!! I really do hope you guys are coming next month. I think we need to go again, and let Justin do all of the rides with Christian. I was SO proud of him for going on such big kid rides. It really was a great time, I am so glad you guys came. Can't wait till next time!
