2/15/09: We went up to McCall Idaho today. It was so pretty. The snow was so beautiful. We went to this place called the Pancake house. We had a huge breakfast. Lauren's pancake was the size of a full size dinner plate. Her eyes about bugged out of her face when she saw it. She only ate about a 1/4 of it if that. But they were really good. Then we drove around the town. Last week McCall had their annual winter carnival. They do this every year. They have all kinds of stuff going on at different places around the town. And they do Snow/ice carving contests. We were able to see the reminisce of the sculptures that were left. The picture of the one that the kids were playing on was replicas of stuff from the game Candy land. The kids thought this was the coolest thing. This little town was so cute and had some great little places to eat and go too. I can't wait to go back this spring of summer when we can walk around and check everything out. It also sits right on a lake that was completely frozen over. It looked like a huge white field. It was so beautiful. It even snowed while we were there to add to our fun experience.

McCall is a great camping spot too!! We met some friends there a couple summers ago and camped at this great place on the lake...you'll have to check it out when the weather improves. Looks like you had fun!
