2/22/09: So how funny that this post is going to follow that last one of her straight hair. As most of you know, Lauren has the most beautiful natural curly hair. She is known for it. I don't think that there is a day that goes by that when we go somewhere people always stop and comment her on her hair. And how cute it is or pretty it is or how cute she is with it. I know it sounds like I am bragging, but her hair is really so cute. And tonight, she destroyed it. We were sitting at dinner, and talking about how Justin needed a haircut. And I was asking Jason if he thought we could use his trimmers and just cut Justin's hair ourselves. And Lauren thought that was funny and her and Jason were laughing and joking about it. Jason told her that he was going to cut her hair with the trimmers too. Lauren laughed and so "No that is only for boys like you and Justin" , "Me and mommy have to go to a place to cut or hair" So they laughed a bit, then dinner was over and Lauren went upstairs to play, and then it was bath time, and I was helping her take off her Snow White dress, and saw hair all over and then looked down and saw that her hair was all cut. Of course I freaked out. I could not believe it.
Basically she has a wicked curly mullet. The only thing working in her favor is that she does have curly hair so it is not AS noticeable as if it we straight. She cut the front top and both the sides back past her ears. I cannot believe she did this. She was just saying yesterday how excited she was because her hair was finally getting long. I am bummed because her hair really is so cute on her. So WOW, can you believe that. I just wanted to share it with you all.

That might just be THE funniest thing I Have ever seen. I am going to call her Glinda Ellis! LOL!!! AWWW...GOod thing she is so cute huh!! It will grow...eventually! LOL!!!
Remember when this was a stylish "cut"? "Oh well, it probably would have happend at some time - this was just sooner rather than later. Oh the joys of parenthood. Love ya!
OK Seriously!! This is the funniest thing EVER!!! HAH Krissy just to tell you, my kids never ever cut their own hair! So hey there's one thing my kids have up on yours!
Well at least with the curls it really isn't horrible, I mean it's still mulletish, but hey some people can rock the mullet.... maybe she is one of those.
Thank gosh for her curls, it really does bring the whole look together!!

wow. it happens. trust me :] lol. but hey i couldnt hardly tell that it was cut in the pics. plus hair grows. so yea it should be fine. oh and tell lauren i said thanks for the picture she drew me.
