1/6/09: Bright and early on Tuesday morning the moving truck arrived. Blocking both my neighbors driveways. Oops..... Everything was going smoothly UNTIL.......we realized that not everything was going to fit. CRAP!!!!! So that started a whole new mess of problems. They got about 3/4 of our stuff on the truck. And the rest had to be left in the garage for the following day. Another truck came to pick up the rest of our stuff. And took it to Vacaville to their warehouse for storage until they found another driver coming up north. What a pain. But other then that, our driver was great and extremely helpful and sorry of the miscalculation. The movers that were there loading our stuff were great. They were extremely careful and thoughtful of the house and our stuff while they were handling it. So we gave them a pretty heart tip, they deserved it.
As Jason and I watched the movers lug and load all of our stuff (we have really big and over sized, overstuffed heavy furniture) we thought to ourselves at the same time.......THIS WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY IT COST!!!!! And it was not cheap, but again worth it. So we were very pleased.
