Gualala River Redwood Park 2008

9/18/09: Gualala River Redwood park. We went camping for 4 days this last week with Johnny, Kely and Waylon. We went up north to by the beach and the redwoods. We had so much fun. We went here last year just the 4 of us too. It is so beautiful there. The weather was nice, it rained a little on Friday, but not too much. The kids had a great time. We went for bikes rides, and long, long walks. The kids roasted marshmallows, or as Lauren calls then Arshmallows. Jason taught Justin how to shoot Uncle Johnny's BB gun.....Great!!!!! The kids played board games together. It was a little hard with Waylon, but we managed, plus he didn't last long with his attention span either. Lauren struggled a little trying to get her helmet on correctly. Even though she didn't need it, it was campfire time after all, but she wanted to anyway. Johnny had a blast just sitting around the campfire. That is always Johnny's favorite part. Jason played with the kids a lot, and laid in the hammock, and before he knew it all the kids piled in it with him. We went to the river and walked along the riverside and played in the rocks. Waylon was giving out Eskimo kisses to Justin and Lauren. He is so cute. Then on our last day and on our way out we stopped at the beach for a while. We didn't stay long, it was way too windy. Lauren and Waylon didn't like the wind much. Neither did Johnny. We stopped on the way home a got some ice cream for the kids.

In a nut shell that is pretty much it. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
