5/30/08: Reedley, CA. Western Regional Race for the NBL. We left Friday morning, and took the RV and camped at the track. We had a great time. The kids love it and we truly enjoy spending time together. Justin did Awesome. He took 2nd over all in Friday nights race, and 4th over all in Saturday's race, and 2nd over all in Sunday mornings race. This last picture is the "photo finish". It was so close we weren't really sure if he beat the other kid. But it turns out that by a few inches he did. He was so excited. Justin is the one in the blue jersey and the silver helmet. Lauren had a blast. She always does. She just plays and does her own thing. We mostly colored together all weekend. She loves to color. And she loves for me to color with her. She is funny. So there are a few more big races scheduled for the next 2 months. We are going to try to make it to most of them. He is doing great. And he has so much fun. This is truly something that he enjoys so much. And so does daddy. So we will keep you posted on the next races and how he does. I think there is one in Fresno, then Prunedale, then Fresno again and then in Taft. That is just for June!!! Holy Cow! We need to start a gas money fund. LOL!!!!
