2/11/08: We took Lauren out today to try and teach her to ride her bike. She really likes to play on it and sit on it, but not ride it by herself. She says that she can't peddle by herself. "It is too hard!!!" So Jason tied a rope to her so he can pull her and get her to peddle herself. We walked around the neighborhood, it was a beautiful evening, nice and sunny, and warm. We have not seen that in a while. Justin rode his bike in front of us, showing off as usual. Lauren was doing great, but anytime she saw anything of interest she would turn her head and then crash into some bushes. Then the ice cream truck drove by, and she really lost her concentration. It was funny. Then she crashed hard and actually fell off the bike and down to the side walk, she was not happy about that. Knocked her shoe off even. She says that she needs more practice. So we will keep working on it.

My absolute favorite picture ever. Her on the ground next to her bike with her shoe off. The look on her face is of pure disgust for her bike, like the bike purposely tossed her aside. LOVE IT!! Great photo!!
