05/01/10: Grandma Nancy came for her Spring visit. We were so excited to see her. The kids counted down the says until she arrived. Unfortunately Papa, was not able to come this time, he was working. But Grandma still had fun. We went out to dinner a few times to two different restaurants that were featured on the Food networks "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" One place was called "Rick's Press Room" That was OK, I didn't much like it, but Jason and Nancy thought it was great. Then we went to "Donnie Mac's Trailer Park Cuisine" This place was hilarious., and delicious. It is set up to look like a trailer park. We sat on old car seats, and there were shower curtains dividing different areas, and pink flamingos, and toilets with flowers in them, and there was a big rusted out car inside the restaurant that you can sit in while you eat. Words cannot describe this super fun place. This is going to be a must to take all our future guests. Then we went to Build A Bear, the kids have been waiting for this for a long time. They had so much fun, and Grandma had fun helping them and watching them. Justin got a puppy that he dressed as Darth Vader, and Lauren did a Cat that she dressed up as Ariel, The Little Mermaid.
We also went out to my parents house and played around there, and Grandma got to go into Justin's class room one day to watch him give his oral book report. That was a treat. For both Grandma and Justin.
All in all we had a great visit with Grandma, and can't wait to have her back again soon, and this time with Papa!!!
