5/23/09: So Lauren was outside playing and riding her bike and keeping up with Justin and his buddies. She plays outside with them all the time. Well she was riding this little trike and was going really fast, and then decided that she wanted off, so while it was still going she tries to get off and her foot got stuck and she tripped and did a face plant on the concrete. She busted open her chin. The picture does not show it too good. But is was pretty deep and jagged.
We went to the urgent care and they referred us to the emergency room, because of the type of gash it was. So we got to check out St. Luke's Hospital. We have been to St Alphonsus several times for my mom, so it was nice to be familiar with St. Luke's now too. Lauren even mentioned it. She is funny.
So like always, when Lauren gets hurt she only wants her daddy, and no one else. She wanted daddy to carry her and to hold her and to lay with her in bed in the ER. It was cute.
So she got 3 stitches and they will come out in one week. And now she has Justin beat with injuries 3 to 1!!!!!

THAT IS INSANE!!!!!! I cannot believe that. How sad for her. You better spoil her and get her lots of goodies until the stitches come out!! HOW SAD!!!
