Lauren goes grocery shopping at Trader Joe's

9/11/08: Lauren and I went to Trader Joe's to get some groceries for our trip to Reedley for Justin's race. Lauren loves to grocery shop and take her own cart. She loves to pick out her won stuff, and put it up on the check out counter. She has a blast. It is just a little something that her and I do together. We have a great time. And yes......that is a nice picture of her in front of the alcohol isle, I guess I didn't notice the background as I was taking her picture. We did however get beer for daddy. So I probably should not have taken her picture with the 6 pack in her cart either....NICE, mother of the year. But in my defense she was happy and wanted to carry her daddy's stuff in HER cart. She doesn't know that it was beer, just stuff for daddy. Don't judge me!!!!!!

The Pimentel Family Est. May 27, 2000

Jason and I have known each other since childhood. We grew up in the same neighborhood. And him and my brother Johnny were close friends. We went to the same schools, and graduated from Concord High. He is 3 years older then me. We started dating in 1996 and never looked back. We got engaged in 1999, then were married in 2000. We had our first child, Justin on December 14, 2001. On January 21, 2005 we had our second child, Lauren. Our family is now complete and we are living happily ever after.

We moved to Meridian, Idaho in January 2009. What a great decision this was. We love it so much and it is such a wonderful place to raise our kids. Justin is 8 and in 3nd grade. He is doing awesome and loves it. He rides dirt bikes, just like daddy, and loves it. He hopes to race motocross in the future. As soon as mommy can except that.......

Lauren is 5, and can't get any more girly. She loves anything girl. She is in Kindergartn and is loving school so much. She is taking a gymnastics class and has so much fun. We have a great relationship and she loves to do things with me. We love to shop together and cook. Those are her two favorite.

Jason works for a software company called GXS in Concord, CA. He has been there for 13 years now. Has made it through 6 names changes, and multiple company buyouts and so forth. He loves his job, most of the time. And he is great at it. He is a Senior Technical Analyst. He loves being a dad and is the best father I could ever want for my children. The kids love him so much. We have a great little family. Jason also has a dirt bike, and is having a ball teaching Justin to ride. He is now teaching Lauren to ride her dirt bike.

I am living my dream of being a stay at home mommy. I spend lots of time at the kids school volunteering and helping out with all kinds of things. Sometimes I miss working, but then I see my kids and how happy they are, and I remind myself how lucky and fortunate I am to be able to stay home with them. I truely enjoy my kids and husband. I feel so lucky to have such a great family and a great marriage. Jason and I have an awesome relationship.

We love to hang out as a family, at home, or on the go. We love getting to know Idaho, and all that is has to offer our family. So many new places to go and explore.
